So attendance at meetings seems to be a perpetual problem, and that seems to be the case with a lot of MUGs (that aren't Appleworks fanatics). And that makes a lot of sense; it was necessary to have to get together in one spot to find out what was happening when you couldn't just fire up a browser or check your feeds. So I think it might be worth considering doing a podcast, or something that better fits with how people hear/discuss tech news today, rather than holding meetings. Plus, there are plenty of interesting topics floating around for an Apple-centric podcast right now: the Psystar case, El Jobso's health and company impact, upcoming September updates/rumors, just to name a few. The question comes, how do we collect dues when there is no physical meeting? I assume we can have them mail in dues. Also what are the benefits of paying dues? Checking on our stuorg web site I see that we have been changed to a campus org and thus no GSB funding. I have just signed up for the treasurer training and will be updating my status as treasurer soon. Also, clubfest is coming up September 5 do we want to register for a spot to promote ourselves? http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=JIXzvfpMqutu7Canj0wkVw_3d_3d Do w want to meet next week to figure out what we're doing?
