I'm not a Mac Geek, like all of you, so I might need some help figuring out if this is the model I need. Do you still have it???? I found this and decided to offer it for sale to people in the MUG groups as well before I also add it to the Craigslist pile. I probably should have put it in the same message as the Mac. Last time posting something for sale for a while. Lacie DVD/CD burner. I don't know the model number, it's not actually labeled on the device anywhere. It is one of the designed by Porsche models and burns quick enough. It is not LightScribe and will NOT come with a Firewire cable or disks (not required on a modern Mac OS X system). Firewire 400. Supports Dual Layer DVDs. The following is from System Profiler: _NEC DVD_RW ND-3500AG: Firmware Revision: 2.06 Interconnect: FireWire Burn Support: Yes (Vendor Supported Drive) Profile Path: VendorSupport.drprofile Cache: 2048 KB Reads DVD: Yes CD-Write: -R, -RW DVD-Write: -R, -RW, +R, +R DL, +RW Write Strategies: CD-TAO, CD-SAO, CD-Raw, DVD-DAO Media: Insert media and refresh to show available burn speeds Pic: http://www.bobbis.net/media/albums/ebay/IMG_0001_001.sized.jpg $30 OBO in Ames pickup.
